Start with the job
The three directories stay separate because choosing a design practice, shopping for a home product and hiring a specialist trade are different decisions. Categories within each directory follow the job you’re trying to get done.
What you’ll see
Every listing starts with the business facts we could confirm. Some add our own research, or details the business has supplied itself. Labels tell you which is which. A short listing means we found less, not that the business scored badly.
Ordering
Listings are alphabetical. Claiming a page doesn’t move a business up the list. If we ever add recommendations or paid placement, they’ll be labelled.
Verify before appointing
Business details, availability and official records can change. Use a listing to build a shortlist, then confirm the company, its licence, the scope, the written quote and the terms directly before you commit.
For businesses
Businesses can add their own detail.
If it’s your business, you can claim the page and add a description, services, products, showrooms and contact details. We label what the business supplied so readers know where it came from.
